A youthful Indian squad, led by Shubman Gill and coach VVS Laxman, has touched down in Zimbabwe for an exciting series of five T20 Internationals set to kick off on July 6 in Harare.

This squad showcases the emerging talents of Riyan Parag and Abhishek Sharma, who have garnered their first call-up to the Indian team after impressive performances in the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) season.

In a heartwarming video posted on Zimbabwe Cricket’s social media handle, Laxman and his boys can be seen stepping out of the Harare airport, ready to take on the challenge ahead.

While Shubman Gill, a reserve in India’s T20 World Cup squad, is expected to join the team in Harare directly from the United States after a well-deserved break, the rest of the squad seems thrilled and prepared for the upcoming T20I series in Zimbabwe.

Notably, five members of the squad, including Shivam Dube, Sanju Samson, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rinku Singh, and Khaleel Ahmed, faced a slight delay and are set to land in Delhi early Thursday morning due to unforeseen circumstances.
