Join the Celebration – Indian Cricket Team’s Victory Parade in Mumbai!
After a spectacular win in the World Cup, the Indian cricket team led by skipper Rohit Sharma is all set to celebrate their victory with the fans in Mumbai. In a first-of-its-kind gesture, Rohit Sharma has invited all the team fans to join the victory parade at Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium on July 4th.
Rohit Sharma shared details of the roadshow in Mumbai and expressed his excitement, “India, we want to enjoy this special moment with all of you. So let’s celebrate this win with a victory parade at Marine Drive & Wankhede on July 4th from 5:00 pm onwards. It’s coming home!”
BCCI secretary Jay Shah also extended an invite to the fans, urging them to honour the victorious Team India by joining the victory parade. “Join us for the Victory Parade honouring Team India’s World Cup win! Head to Marine Drive and Wankhede Stadium on July 4th from 5:00 pm onwards to celebrate with us! Save the date!”
India’s World Cup winners finally headed home after a delay due to Hurricane Beryl. The team left Barbados on a special Air India flight and will land in Delhi before continuing to Mumbai. The victory parade is set to be a grand affair with the team meeting PM Narendra Modi and a ceremony planned in Mumbai.
