Randeep Hooda and Parineeti Chopra Expose the Real Purpose of Bollywood Parties
Recently, Randeep Hooda shared his candid thoughts on the primary function of Bollywood parties, asserting that they mainly serve as platforms for discussing work and establishing connections.
In an interview with Bharti TV, Randeep confessed, “Party toh bahot karte hain, par ab apne ghar pe karte hain” (I party hard, but only with my friends at home). Reflecting on his early career, Randeep recollected attending Bollywood parties where he would get intoxicated and miss out on crucial networking opportunities that could have opened new doors.
“I would attend many of these parties in the beginning. Mujhe bahut baad me pata chala ki yeh to networking parties hoti aur main wahan party karne jata tha” (I realized much later that these were actually networking parties, but I attended them just to party). He added with a laugh, “Pata nahin kis ko kya bola hoga?” (I treated them like real parties, got drunk, and talked my mouth off).
The Swatantra Veer Savarkar star nostalgically spoke about how insiders used these gatherings to mingle with influential personalities, hoping to land new projects. “I later realized that you’re not supposed to do that. You just have to hold a drink in your hand, exchange pleasantries, and talk about current projects. Hum toh do teen taka tak laga lete the aur kisko kya bola woh toh Ram jaane?” (I would quickly chug down two-three drinks. God knows what I may have told them at the party), he remarked humorously.
Randeep concluded, “Bollywood parties are just networking parties and not real parties because you party with your real friends who you’re comfortable with.”

She admitted that she often is not present at the right events and is rarely captured by the paparazzi. Moreover, she expressed her struggles with effective public relations.
Parineeti revealed that she does not attend the dinners, lunches, or parties where work is often discussed and opportunities are created.
