Congress leader Rahul Gandhi recently delivered his first Lok Sabha speech as the leader of the opposition, creating quite a buzz. However, some parts of his speech on minorities, the NEET row, and the Agnipath scheme were removed from the official records of Parliament.
While there was controversy surrounding Gandhi’s speech, a video showcasing the shifting of cameras when the Congress leader was speaking and displaying an image of Lord Shiva to the House has surfaced online.
“Shivji kehte hai….Sir dekhiye, camera se hata diya inhone,” Rahul Gandhi was heard saying in Parliament during his address.
After the video went viral, social media users flooded the comments section with diverse reactions. Some praised Rahul Gandhi for his tactics, while others criticized the state of democracy in India.
One user remarked, “When parliamentary officials are in cahoots with Modi, our democracy is in jeopardy.” Another user admiringly stated, “Rahul is truly clever.”
“This individual is demonstrating that the non-biological Prime Minister believes he has brainwashed us Indians! We are Hindus and Indians, not just BJP supporters. Proud to be Indian!” expressed a third user.
“They are trying to prevent Rahul from aligning himself with Hinduism, as it would complicate their Hindu-Muslim political games,” commented a fourth user.
Rahul Gandhi’s Remarkable Lok Sabha Speech
During the recent Lok Sabha session, Rahul Gandhi accused the BJP of deliberately undermining the Constitution and the core principles of India.
“Courage is not the exclusive domain of one religion. In fact, all religions extol the virtues of courage… Shivji teaches us to fear not, to not instill fear, displays the abhay mudra (the gesture of fearlessness), and preaches ahimsa (non-violence),” Gandhi highlighted.
“I was targeted at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I faced over 20 cases, my house was seized… I underwent 55 hours of questioning by the Enforcement Directorate. It is amusing to see BJP members now echoing ‘Jai Samvidhan’ (hail the Constitution) after me,” he added.
