The Mangal Utsav reception was a sight to behold. Radhika Merchant stunned in a modern Indian outfit, showcasing Dolce & Gabbana’s Alta Moda Sardegna 2024 corset adorned with intricate filigree embroidery. This exquisite piece was complemented by a custom drape and skirt from the legendary Anamika Khanna. The ensemble was a perfect blend of shimmer, gold embroidery, grace, elegance, and glamour.

This exceptional outfit, brought to fruition by the talented stylist Rhea Kapoor, beautifully amalgamated Indian craftsmanship with contemporary Western flair. Anamika Khanna’s designs are known for their celebration of Indian artistry with a modern twist, and Radhika’s ensemble was a testament to this philosophy.

Accentuating the Look

Radhika’s style was further elevated by dazzling diamond jewelry, including a stunning necklace, earrings, and bangles. The golden drape and detailed embroidery perfectly complemented her sophisticated presence. The entire look was styled by Sanya Kapoor and Shereen, with hair artist Hiral Bhatia providing perfectly blow-dried hair and celebrity makeup artist Loveleen Ramchandani highlighting Radhika’s natural beauty with minimal makeup.

During her vidaai ceremony, following her traditional wedding in an exquisite ivory and red lehenga by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Radhika opted for a breathtaking sindoori red ensemble crafted by Manish Malhotra. This ensemble was completed with a Banarasi silk dupatta and a veil cascading into an impressive train, embodying timeless elegance.

The Grand Shubh Aashirvad Ceremony

For the Shubh Aashirwad ceremony, Radhika donned a spectacular lehenga designed by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, who collaborated with artist Jayasri Burman to create this masterpiece specifically for the bride. The detailed and artistic design reflected the harmonious blend of tradition and modernity.
