Punjab University (PU) has finally unveiled the much-awaited merit list for the Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Law (BA LLB) 5-year integrated course today, on July 2nd. Aspirants who appeared for the challenging law entrance exam can now access the PU BA LLB merit list 2024 from the official website, ug law.puchd.ac.in.
The merit list is a crucial document that determines the fate of many aspiring law students. It is presented in a PDF format for easy access. To download the merit list, candidates need to have their registration number and date of birth handy as login credentials.
The PU BA LLB entrance exam took place on April 28, 2024, setting the stage for this much-awaited announcement. The university initially released a tentative merit list on June 26, 2024, providing a short window for objections until June 28th.

PU BA LLB 2024 Counselling Process
Once you find your name on the merit list, the next crucial step is the counseling process. The registration for counseling will kick off on July 10, 2024. Remember, the merit list is solely based on the marks secured in the entrance exam.
Here’s a quick rundown of how to apply for the counseling process:
- Login: Access your account using the login ID and password created during registration.
- Complete sections: Fill out each section (Categories, Class +2 subjects, Weightages & Other Information, Documents) carefully and lock each section once completed. (Note: Locked sections cannot be edited.)
- Print and submit: Print the admission form and submit it along with the required documents to the specified address by June 12, 2024 (till 4:00 p.m.).
Keep in mind that once the online Admission Form is submitted, no changes, including category changes, will be permitted. So, make sure to double-check all details before final submission.
