NEET UG Re-Exam Result 2024: What You Need to Know
The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to announce the results of the NEET UG 2024 re-examination today, June 30th, 2024. This re-exam was conducted for 1,563 candidates who were previously awarded grace marks due to a “loss of time” during the original NEET UG exam held on May 5th.
Following a Supreme Court ruling, these candidates had the option to either retake the exam or retain their original scores without the grace marks. Out of the eligible candidates, only 813 opted for the re-test held on June 23rd.
The original NEET UG 2024 exam results, declared on June 4th, were marred by controversy due to allegations of paper leaks and irregularities, especially the unusually high number of perfect scores. The Ministry of Education has handed over the matter to the CBI for further investigation.
