In a scathing response to Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi’s speech, former Haryana minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Anil Vij accused him of fueling a dangerous conspiracy to create religious divides in India. Vij went on to claim that Gandhi’s ultimate goal is to seek the partition of India once again, stirring up discord among different communities.
Vij further emphasized that Rahul Gandhi’s divisive rhetoric should be disregarded in order to maintain peace and harmony in the nation.
According to reports by ANI, Anil Vij stated: “It was a deep conspiracy to sow animosity between people of different faiths. He desires another partition of India. The inclination towards partition is deeply ingrained in the Congress party’s DNA.”
“His aim is to fragment castes further apart… Rahul Gandhi’s inflammatory words should be overlooked for the greater good of the country,” he added.

The Lok Sabha session on Tuesday was marred by chaos triggered by Rahul Gandhi’s remarks and their impact on the Hindu community.
The BJP has lodged a formal complaint accusing Gandhi of disrespecting the Hindu community.
In a direct attack on the ruling BJP government, Gandhi asserted that there has been a deliberate and organized assault on India’s core values.
During his speech, Gandhi highlighted, “There has been a systematic and extensive offensive against the essence of India, the Constitution, and those who defended it. Numerous individuals faced personal attacks, with some still incarcerated. Any opposition to the accumulation of power and wealth, aggression towards the underprivileged, Dalits, and minorities was severely suppressed… I, myself, was targeted by the Government of India, at the behest of the Prime Minister.”
Gandhi also emphasized the symbol of Congress as the ‘Abhayamudra,’ representing fearlessness and protection in various Indian religions. He criticized those claiming to be Hindu for promoting violence and hatred instead of the principles of non-violence and fearlessness advocated by great leaders.
