Air India is all set to redefine luxury air travel on its Delhi to London Heathrow route with the introduction of its brand-new Airbus A350-900 aircraft. This flagship product will debut on this long-haul international route starting from September 1.

The A350-900 will replace the current Boeing 777-300ER and Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner aircraft on 14 out of 17 weekly flights, providing an additional 336 seats each week between Delhi and London Heathrow. This move reflects Air India’s commitment to enhancing the overall travel experience for its passengers.

This upgrade means that 90% of Air India’s flights to London Heathrow will now feature state-of-the-art A350-900 aircraft. Earlier this year, the airline began deploying its newly acquired Boeing 777-300ERs with upgraded cabin interiors on all Mumbai-London Heathrow flights, bringing First class back on the London Heathrow-Mumbai route and offering passengers a premium travel experience.

With the introduction of Premium Economy class on the Delhi-London Heathrow route, passengers will have the option to relax in 24 spacious seats arranged in a 2-4-2 configuration in a dedicated cabin.

Air India’s A350 flights will showcase new soft products and guest enhancements, including new chinaware, tableware, glassware, bedding, and updated amenity kits. Business and Premium Economy guests will enjoy exclusive designs by Ferragamo and TUMI respectively.
