Rahul Gandhi’s Arrow Hits the Mark: Congress Leaders React to PM Modi’s Speech
During a two-hour-long speech in the Lok Sabha, Prime Minister Narendra Modi faced sharp criticism from Congress leaders. Congress leader Bhupesh Baghel commented, “Rahul Gandhi’s arrow has hit the right spot,” as PM Modi delivered his response to the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address. In his speech, PM Modi took jabs at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi and discussed topics like the Emergency and the NEET Exam debacle.
Baghel further added, “Hindu religion is non-violent and PM Modi is continuously speaking lies. I have heard PM Modi’s speech today and it showed that he has gone crazy.”
Congress leader Supriya Shrinate criticized PM Modi for not addressing the reports of the Hathras stampede, where 107 people lost their lives. She expressed disappointment that PM Modi did not shorten his 2-hour and 14-minute-long speech despite the tragic incident.
Other Congress leaders, such as KL Sharma, emphasized that PM Modi’s speech lacked substance and failed to address key issues raised by the Congress party.
Samajwadi Party leader Akhilesh Yadav highlighted the government’s lack of a clear stance on doubling farmers’ income, pointing out that the PM’s speech did not address crucial agricultural issues.
Additionally, Akali Dal MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal criticized PM Modi for focusing excessively on personal attacks rather than discussing critical issues affecting the country. She underlined the importance of addressing concerns like unemployment, farmers’ issues, and high inflation.
Congress MP Manish Tewari noted that PM Modi’s speech overlooked important topics like China, terror attacks in Jammu, and flaws in criminal law implementation, highlighting the lack of substance in the Prime Minister’s address.
