The Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 notification has been released by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. Aimed at ensuring the quality of teachers across various educational institutions in the state, AP TET 2024 will be conducted through a Computer Based Test (CBT) in multiple sessions.
If you aspire to become a teacher in state government schools, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, municipal, model schools, residential schools, and private aided and unaided schools, now is your chance to register online starting from July 4, 2024.
AP TET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for AP TET 2024, candidates must possess the minimum qualifications as prescribed for Paper-1A, Paper-1B (classes I to V), and Paper-2A, Paper-2B (classes VI to VIII) detailed in the Information Bulletin. Candidates pursuing the final semester of Teacher Education Courses recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) or the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) are also eligible to apply.

AP TET 2024: Application Fees
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of Rs. 750/- for each paper through the payment gateway available on the AP TET website during the specified period. The fee is non-refundable and must be paid separately for each paper applied.
AP TET 2024: Score Validity
The AP TET Certificate / Marks Memo will remain valid for a lifetime in accordance with NCTE guidelines as amended by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Obtain your TET qualifying certificate and enjoy lifetime validity. Certificates will be available in DigiLocker immediately upon result declaration.
