India Creates History: Records Highest Total in Women’s Test Cricket
India achieved a milestone in women’s Test cricket by posting their highest-ever total of 603 for six against South Africa on day two of the one-off Test in Chennai. The skipper, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Richa Ghosh played crucial roles in extending India’s dominance with a significant partnership.
Harmanpreet, playing her fifth Test, reached her maiden half-century in the format with a score of 69 off 115 balls. Richa also shone with a career-best knock of 86. Their partnership of 143 runs for the fifth wicket showcased India’s strong batting performance.
