The re-examination for both Class 5 and 8 took place from June 3 to 8. More than 1,31,000 students from Class 5 and 1,63,000 students from Class 8 participated in the exams from various government, non-government schools, and registered madrassas across the state. The evaluation process was carried out at 322 centers with the help of over 28,000 evaluators.

Earlier this year, the regular exam results for Classes 5 and 8 were declared on April 23, 2024. The pass percentage for Class 5 stood at 90.97%, while Class 8 achieved an overall pass percentage of 87.71%, based on media reports.
